Well, there wasn't anything I could do about what had happened, but there were lots of things I could do going forward. First the good news was I had an updated version of the site and it could be easily uploaded and fix the immediate problem. Also, some of the lost data, mostly my e-mail messages, were not as lost as we had first been told and they started reappearing slowly. Finally, I could take this opportunity to rebuild the site, adding new information and tweaking it to better fit the new direction I am heading. This was something I had wanted to do, but hadn't taken the time. Now the opportunity was being given to me to update and rebuild the site. Best of all, I now know the warning signs that something might be wrong.
Don't despair when everything falls apart. Look at the situation as an opportunity to rebuild stronger and better than before.
Are you ready to change your perspective about how things are going in your life?
Today, take the opportunity to look at things differently. What is happening in your life will change when you change how you view it.
"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." Marcus Aurelius
"Wisdom is your perspective on life, your
sense of balance, your understanding of how the various parts
and principles apply and relate to each other. It embraces judgment,
discernment, comprehension. It is a gestalt or oneness, and
integrated wholeness." Stephen R. Covey
